Meet Scott and Mark, founders and directors of Spark. Between them they have more than sixty years of print promotion, production, marketing and print logistics experience.
Together with production specialist Rob Ward and in-house graphic designer Vicky Fitzgerald, they make an unbeatable team of print management strategy and production specialists.
Mark has more than thirty five years of experience in the marketing and print promotion industries, working with clients including Sigma Healthcare, Australia Post, Stratco, Automotive Brands Group and many others.
Mark’s speciality is managing complex logistical print and marketing collateral solutions, working closely with clients to deliver the right print solutions on time and on budget. This often requires jointly managing numerous suppliers across Australia and internationally and ensuring the delivery of print products to multiple destinations, such as stakeholders, suppliers or retail outlets.
Mark is also a qualified printer and maintains a thorough technical knowledge of all aspects of the printing industry. He speaks the language of printers, enabling him to negotiate and deliver quality results for projects big and small.
Mark’s previous roles include sales, technical and account director positions with PMP Limited, Wilkie Colour, ACP (now Bauer Magazines), AIW and many others.

Scott is a senior print promotion and marketing strategist, having worked with a variety of leading local and international brands during his thirty year career. Scott has spent the majority of his career in print promotion and account management positions with some of Australia’s leading advertising agencies.
His previous clients are too numerous to mention but do include Blockbuster Video, Medibank, Ford, The Extension Factory, Sigma Pharmaceuticals, Flag Inns, Terry White Chemists, Medibank, Tattersalls and many others.
He has represented clients in diverse industries including real estate, building and construction, events and exhibitions, retail, government, health and pharmaceutical, law firms and many others. In 2001, together with his wife Vicky, Scott established Crave Communications, a boutique print management agency providing a large agency suite of services without the huge overheads.
Scott forged his career in the high pressure agency environment of the the 1980s and 1990s. He remains a stickler for meeting deadlines to this day. His eagle eye attention to detail comes from managing complex multi-print production projects. Regardless of the value of the investment, Scott is committed to ensuring maximum value and quality for his clients.

Mark Kemp
Founders and Director
After emigrating from Ireland aged just 18, Vicky completed an honors degree in graphic design at Swinburne University and embarked on a career as a graphic designer with many of Melbourne’s leading advertising agencies. She also spent time leading the design department for New Idea magazine.
Vicky’s expertise includes the design and production of catalogues, newsletters, annual reports, signage, banners, point of sale, magazines, exhibition and event displays and many more.
Vicky has a love of fonts, kerning, colours and typography, and will ensure that every client’s brand identity will be faithfully represented no matter the medium.
As our in-house graphic designer, Vicky works closely with our clients to create the designs that bring the client vision to life.
Vicky’s previous clients include Chadstone Shopping Centre, Australian Unity, Royal Institute for the Blind, Uncle Ben’s, Tupperware and many others.
Rob started his 30+ year career doing a trade apprenticeship in Printing Machining that covered all areas of the trade, this lead him to move off the production floor and train in estimating and production management within the trade and he has worked within some of the larger printers in Melbourne thus gaining a wide experience in all areas of the trade and ways to improve production and best practice in both traditional print and moving into the digital and large format production, he also spent years working within the carton and packaging sector gaining experience in large volume FMCG packaging design & production added to this he has worked in print management helping advise some of Melbourne’s leading design agencies in best production processes to help bring their designs to life.
Having also spent many years working within a large national retailer as their print production manager ensuring over 470 national stores have all the needed POS and marketing collateral on time and help stores boost sales and customer engagement.
Rob has a strong emphasis on customer service, quality, cost control and innovation. Being analytically minded and strongly focused on attention to detail, he enjoys putting ideas and outside the box thinking toward finding a solution to client requests/ideas and always works toward fixing and improving processes.
